Greetings,
Intermountain Chapter #123 of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (I-APIC) is presenting our annual educational conference in Boise, Idaho, on October 10 and 11, 2019. We would be very pleased to have you participate as a vendor or sponsor.
The conference location this year is the Riverside Hotel in Boise, Idaho. The conference rooms are nicely appointed and the Riverside Hotel features a convenient drop off/pick-up area as well as parking. Discounted rooms are also available at the Riverside for vendors and attendees, just ask for IAPIC rate.
The 2019 conference agenda includes a wide range of topics including outbreak investigations, food safety, and a presentation from Karen Hoffman, the current National APIC President. Our educational offerings have been specifically chosen to be relevant to multiple types of healthcare facilities including; acute care, skilled nursing, long term acute care, rehabilitation, and ambulatory surgery centers.
Conference attendance is usually between 60 and 80 attendees from healthcare facilities all over Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and northern Utah. This will be a great opportunity for you to show off new products and to network with infection prevention professionals who influence purchasing decisions in their facilities.
Vendors are invited to participate by displaying their products and services. You may also provide support by sponsoring speakers, meals or door prizes. Conference meals, with the exception of dinner on Thursday night (10/10), will be served in an area adjacent to the vendor and conference areas.
Please accept this letter as our formal request to support this educational program. The vendor registration form attached. You may e-mail, mail, or fax your registration back to us or register online through website: https://www.apicintermountain123.com/. Any checks should be made payable to APIC Intermountain Region - Chapter #123. Questions? Please contact Suzanne Walsh, I-APIC Treasurer, at 208-589-2028 or SuzanneWalsh96@msn.com if you need additional information.
Thank you for your support of APIC as we strive to improve health care and Infection Prevention throughout the region.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Walsh for the I-APIC Board of Directors
